A new robot is driving in my Automuseum. The chassis is 3D printed and I got the electronics from my sponsor RS Components.
I will talk about it's mission targets and continue writing on the build instruction as soon as the vehicle is upgraded to battery power and prepared to go into the wilderness. Besides the hardware, the software needs to be upgraded as well in the coming weeks. Leave a comment and tell me if the robot works on your computer or if you have trouble to get connected - thanks!

I got a CNC router type "Next 3D" from GoCNC AG, homed in Iserlohn (Germany). I will publish a review including a video in the coming weeks. Furthermore, this CNC "Made in Germany " will become the reference for my homemade machines and finally I will create videos about the basics of CNC routing in cooperation with the experts of GoCNC, that manufacture quality machines for more than a decade. I am glad to have that new partner!

I created a new subjectindex with more than 1200 keywords (I wasn't aware that my project grew that much over the years...). Now, this index is generated automatically by a Perl script, extracting information from meta tags on my pages. Hopefully you will now find all of my pages you are looking for (leave a comment if not).

Partner day of RS Components on 11th of April
I am invited to be part of the RS components partner day on April 11, in Mainz, Germany ("Alte Lokhalle", Mombacher Straße). I will show my WinchBot 2.0 as well as new projects that are currently under construction using parts from my sponsor. I am not the only partner that will be there: Well-known suppliers of RS Components will show their products, you can take part in expert lectures and win prices. It's definitely worth coming to Mainz!
Details about the event are available on the pages of RS Components.

Ranking 3D printers
I have published a personal "ranking" of the 3D printers I have reviewed so far in the column shopping tips. I am still working on a test object, all printers must process. With this object I'd like to combine the printer test with something useful for another project I am running - stay tuned to see what it will be!.
